Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google or Apple, plus any mobile number you choose to add. When you create an invitation we store the names, dates, venues, template, language, settings, and photos you enter. Guest replies contain the guest name, attendance, and party size.

When someone opens an invitation we record the invitation, time, whether it came from a personalized guest link, the device/browser user agent, referrer, IP address, and approximate country, region, and city derived from that IP. We do not request precise GPS location. We also record plan, purchase, and rewarded-ad unlock events needed to provide paid features.

If you send a content report, we collect your name, email address, the reported URL, the reason and details you provide, the time, and security information such as your IP address and browser user agent. Cloudflare Turnstile checks the submission to confirm it is human; it does not make advertising profiles for us.

How we use it

Your information is used to create and display invitations, deliver guest links, show RSVP summaries and personalized links, provide plans and purchases, prevent abuse, keep accounts secure, and show hosts and administrators how an invitation is being viewed. We do not sell personal information.

Storage and sharing

Data is stored with our hosting, database, and storage providers. Guest invitation links are public to anyone who has the link, by design. Google Play processes subscription payments. Google AdMob may process device and advertising information when you choose to watch a rewarded ad, subject to your consent choices. Content-report notifications are delivered by Resend to our support inbox. Cookies and browser storage are described in our Cookie Policy. We share data only with providers needed to run the service, or when required by law.

Retention and your choices

Raw IP addresses in invitation analytics are deleted after 90 days; country/city and aggregate view counts remain. You can edit or delete invitations from your dashboard and delete your account from Profile. Deleting an account removes your profile, owned invitations, and uploaded invitation photos, subject to limited backup or legal retention. Deleting a Datixy account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription; manage or cancel it in Google Play.

Administrators can access account, invitation, guest, photo, analytics, and billing information when needed to operate or support the service. Sensitive administrator access is logged. Content reports are kept while we investigate and, where needed, to document repeat complaints or legal notices. Some backups and security logs may persist for a limited period.
