Telugu wedding invitation wording (పెళ్లి పత్రిక format)

What goes on the card, in order

శ్రీరస్తు · శుభమస్తు · అవిఘ్నమస్తు

The traditional opening blessing, often with a line to Sri Venkateswara Swamy or the family deity.

ఆహ్వానించువారు — the hosts

The parents write: 'మా కుమారుడు / కుమార్తె ...'. Grandparents are named with ఆశీస్సులతో.

వధూవరులు — the couple

The groom as చి. [పేరు] and the bride as చి.ల.సౌ. [పేరు], each with their parents' names.

సుముహూర్తం — date and lagna

The Telugu samvatsaram and masam, the English date and the exact time, e.g. 'ఉదయం 10:32 గం.లకు మీన లగ్నంలో'.

వేదిక — venue

The kalyana mandapam name and address. Reception (విందు / రిసెప్షన్) gets its own line.

విన్నపం — the request

Ends with 'తమరు సకుటుంబ సపరివార సమేతంగా విచ్చేసి వధూవరులను ఆశీర్వదించ ప్రార్థన'.
